Everybody knows Insurance. In this contract the insurer promises the insured to give compensation for the loss of the insured entity or death of the insured person. Premium is the amount which is paid by the insured to the insurance company on behalf of buying the insurance. Insurance is in fact similar to risk management.
There are certain rules and principles which are strictly followed by the insurance companies before insuring anything or anyone. Companies check the reliability of the information provided by the insurer, their earning capacity and the worth of the entity etc. Even when claims for insurance payment are made by the insurer, the companies check about the truth themselves regarding the extent of damage or loss, the insured entity or person and then only they give the insurance money. There are myriad types of insurance available in the insurance companies- Like,
Public liability insurance if any kind of damage happens to the insured property due to any person from the public insurance amount is given.
Vacant land insurance is taken by people who have lands or any construction in the land which is not in use since a long time. In case of any damage due to fire, earthquake, flood etc. to the property insurance, amount will be paid by the company for the loss.
Office insurance is taken by almost every office and their employees. In case of injury of the employees, their hospitalization bills are paid by the insurance company under which they are insured. And if any kind of damage happens to the office its cost is also paid by the insurance company.
Home warranty insurance is a good scheme where maintenance money required for the home is given by the insurance companies
Construction work insurance is taken by the builders for their buildings which are under construction and for the workers who are involved in the building construction.
Contract works insurance is very popular among people whose nature of work involves them in contract working.
Business insurance quotes are demanded by the companies, so that they can insure their business to the company which offers most competitive price.
Property Insurance Australia has a huge insurance market in Australia.
Other than these insurances life insurance, Motor insurance, Property insurance, Workers compensation insurance and insurance for display home are the most popular types of insurance.
It’s good and important to have insurance because our life is uncertain and insurance provides us and our family a kind of monetary security in case something unexpected and bad happens to us, so that we can face the challenges of life and move ahead.

There’s a war going on in the blogosphere, and it has nothing to do with bloggers dissing each other on their respective websites. The war is about control of the blogosphere by several great, many good, and tons of terrible blogging platforms. The average newbie now has “too many” options to choose from, and the battle for blogging supremacy is hotter than ever.

At my website and blogs, I’m always asked the question “Is Wordpress better than Blogger?”. The answer, of course, is “Yes”. But to really understand why, it’s important to look at both blogging platforms side-by-side and see which one you really need.

You also need to understand that there are different versions of Wordpress, the earliest now termed as “Wordpress” at Wordpress.org, and the hosted version similar to Blogger now termed “Wordpress.com” which is of course available Wordpress.com. Only the latter comes with free hosting on a sub-domain account. We’ll discuss this in Part 2.

For Part 1 of this article, we look only at the self-hosted version of Wordpress. Here’s the comparison scale:

1) Ease of Set-up And Use

Yes, it’s much easier to set-up a blog with Blogspot.com and get your own Bloggger account. You can be done in 10 minutes flat. Once you’re set-up you can start posting immediately. If you want to add a designer’s touch to your blog, there are also tons of blogger templates available for free.

Installing Wordpress however can be a major headache if you don’t know what you’re doing. Since you’re going to host it on your own account, you’ll need to download the installation files, upload them to your server, set-up a database, and run the configuration script.

However, if you know which hosting account to get, you can choose one with Cpanel included. With Cpanel, you can do a one-click installation, upgrade and removal of your Wordpress platform.

2) Customization & Advanced Use

Blogger doesn’t allow categories. You can’t sort your articles into different focuses, unless you know how to hack the platform. With Wordpress, not only can you add categories, you can also display each category differently on your main page. In fact with the correct plugins you can even turn your Wordpress into a magazine-like portal.

Publishing with Blogger can extremely furstrating. It can take forever to post articles, especially if you’re making changes to the entire website. With Wordpress, publishing is much faster, although if you load your system with all kinds of bells and whistles it can be just as frustrating.

With a Blogger account, you can get additional features like “Shout Boxes” that improve interaction on your site. You can also get pretty themes and nifty little tools that you can add to the core template files. However, that’s as far as you can go with Blogger.

With Wordpress however, the sky is the limit. As cliche as that may sound, not only can you get themes, additional “plugins” and advanced tools, you can also extend Wordpress to far beyond just a blogging platform.

The talk today is about using Wordpress as a complete, user-friendly Content Management System or CMS. Unlike complicated predecessors like PHPPostNuke, B2, Mambo or even Joomla, Wordpress is user friendly. Plus, the availability of source codes in this open-source system coupled with a strong community makes it possible to use Wordpress as an article management system, classifieds system, direct-selling site and even a paid membership site.

4) Copyrights and Ownership of Content

I started with Blogger and I won’t say that it’s bad. But after a while I started to get frustrated with Blogger, and here’s why: Google Owns Your Content

Google has the authority to shut down your account without warning if they don’t like what you’re blogging about. You don’t have absolute control over your own blog. With Wordpress, you own the domain name and the blog is hosted on your own account. You have full control over your content.

With the self-hosted version of Wordpress (not Wordpress.com), you’re free to write about anything you want, and use the software in any way you want. Yes, Blogger allows you to publish to your own domain, but they still own the database that holds your content! Don’t forget that!

5) Search Engine Optimization and Traffic

There’s this propaganda that since Google owns Blogger, they tend to favor Blogger accounts. I won’t say that this is illogical, but from my experience, there’s no such favoritism.

I’ve heard as many stories of getting indexed fast and ranking high in search engines from both Wordpress and Blogger users. As long as the content is good, the spiders will come.

When you post in Blogger, you can only “ping” a limited amount of sites, whereas with Wordpress on your own domain you can ping as many blog directories as you want, and start getting more traffic.

As a conclusion, I would say that Wordpress is only slightly ahead in terms of optimization for search engines, and building large amounts of traffic.

6) Money-Making Potential

There’s no doubt that it’s easier to get started with Google Adsense if you have a Blogger account. In fact you can now apply for Adsense from within a Blogger account. Not entirely surprising considering the fact that both are owned by the same company.

With Wordpress, it can get tricky. The default installation is not enough. You’ll need a couple of plugins and even a better theme to really maximize the Adsense potential. However, this seems to be getting easier and there’s even “Adsense revenue sharing” plugins around that allow you to share ad revenue with other contributors and writers for your blog.

When you start using Wordpress to build your Adsense websites, you’ll soon discover what I mean. It’s something you need to experience for yourself. I can tell you one thing though – when you go Wordpress, you don’t go back.

You’ve worked most of your life to give your family a comfortable house to live in. You want your children to live happily and contented with the business that you’ve built through the years. Yet accidents do happen. When it does happen, the first question will be, are you protected to ensure that what you’ve built through the years won’t easily be blown with the wind? If your answer is yes, then congratulations! Yet then again, what if you’re not protected to ensure everything that you’ve worked for including yourself? You need to think it over. Remember, even the most careful person needs insurance. They can’t prevent accidents from ever happening. Although, having insurance is not a substitute for risk management, yet it’s designed to help you absorb any responsibility that may occur.

Hopefully as you read on, this article will let you realize the importance of having insurance. Not just for your protection, yet for the protection of your loved ones and the dream that you’ve built. If you do have insurance and you’re tempted to put it off, don’t. Insurance helps you pay for everyday expenses and provides you a back-up in case of serious illness.

First, what is insurance? Insurance, according to the dictionary, is a promise of reimbursement in the case of loss or is an amount paid to people or companies after a disaster or accident. In short, insurance is a policy designed to make sure that you are no worse off after an accident or disaster than you were before it happened. Insurance is designed to protect you and your family from unforeseen disasters and financial burdens. Insurance comes in all shapes and sizes. It runs the extent from personal insurance to corporate umbrella liability plans, as well as auto and homeowner’s insurance plans. Knowing what types of insurance you need is also important to make sure that you don’t overspend on things that are unnecessary.

There are different types or kinds of insurance for every type of situation. Here are some important types of insurance: Disability insurance, life, health, long term care insurance, auto, homeowner’s insurance and liability insurance. Consider your needs and what you need to protect. These are the most common types that anyone may need in case something happens to your property, to your loved ones and most specially to you.

Disability insurance. Did you know that a person like you is more likely to be disabled for sometime before you die in case of a serious accident? Ask yourself, if you become disabled, how can you cover your expenses? How will you be able to save for your retirement? Since majority of disabilities are health related, can you afford the risk of being without earnings and having increased healthcare expenses? If you are someone whose income is required to maintain your lifestyle, then protect your income by purchasing this type of insurance as this is a vital risk management strategy for all wage earners.

There are 2 types of disability: short-term and long term. Short term coverage will provide income replacement protection, usually after one week of disability, and will pay up to six months. Long term, on the other hand, is the type of disability that starts generally at the six-month mark and continues until age 65. 24.5% of American household no longer have health insurance when they lost or changed their jobs. The sad part about health insurance is that if you can’t afford to pay the premium, you definitely won’t be able to afford bearing the risk yourself. If you contract an illness while being uninsured, you may not be able to buy insurance later because you will have a pre-existing condition or would likely end up paying more than what you should.Health insurance.

Almost one out of five Americans has no health insurance. Most of these people state that cost is the reason. Life insurance. On most occasions, life insurance protects your surviving family in the event of your death.

This type of insurance offers protection to the family you leave behind and serves as a cash resource to deal with money owed, payment of mortgages, and other living expenses. Also, life insurance can have a savings or pension component that provides for you during your retirement. It also protects your hard earned possessions by providing tax free cash which can be used to pay estate and death duties and to tide over business and personal expenses. In case of bankruptcy, the cash value as well as death benefits of an insurance policy is exempt from creditors, if any.

Auto insurance. Imagine you were to be involved in a car accident with another car and was found out that it was your fault, you need to pay for all the damage done would you be able to pay for repair or replacement of the other car and pay for the medical bills of the other driver and their passengers? Owning a vehicle and letting it out of the garage would definitely mean you should have auto insurance. Depends what state you’re located and the brand and make and model of your vehicle as well as your age, would depend on the amount of premium that you need to pay.

Having insurance is important to good financial planning and security, yet you need to assess your personal risk and long term commitments. Insurance gives a person a heads up throughout life and can be used in cases of emergencies during a life time by requesting a withdrawal or loan. If you are still having second thoughts of getting insurance, you may want to think again. Having insurance is an investment, you’ll say you don’t need it so why pay for something you don’t need? Remember there is always something that you need yet you can’t see – protection and knowing it’s just there when you need it.

Homeowner’s insurance. Having a beautiful home and furnishing it doesn’t stop there. If you have a home and you have a mortgage, you must have homeowner’s insurance protection. First, your mortgage company would require you to have it and second, even if you own you home outright, you still need to have homeowner’s insurance to replace or fix the things that are too expensive or impossible to pay for yourself.

Is contextual advertising helping or hurting the web? It basically started with Google Adsense even though the concept wasn’t new. It had never been done on the scale that Google did it. Now we have Yahoo Publisher. MSN is building their version. We have Konterra and a whole lot of other companies scrambling to cash in on the contextual ad craze.

Initially contextual advertising seems like a good idea. Ads based on the content of your website that might benefit your readers or visitors. Ads that are related to the content you produce that will also help you make a little money for your efforts.

However greed ruins all good things. Now there are probably millions of webpages online that are built for the sole purpose of cashing in on contextual advertising. I’m not talking about people who continue to blog the way they always have or continue to maintain a website full of valuable information that just add contextual advertising to boost their revenue a little.

I’m talking about websites full of scraped content, total spam content, or no content at all that are capitalizing on contextual advertising revenue. They are putting tons of webpages up that have no real value for content to the point that now as you search the web doing research on almost any topic you can think of, you have to sift through all the garbage to find it.

I wrote an article for a client recently. The topic they asked me to research and write about was “Mancoon Cats.” Take a moment from this article and go try to search for that phrase. I bet you can’t find a page about it within 30 minutes. I’m talking about a page that has real content.

Of course the real name for this cat is a “Maine Coon” Cat, but many people call it by the first name above and it happens to be a popular search phrase. But all you can get on that term is pages full of garbage that link to other pages full of garbage in a complete circle-jerk.

All of those pages contain contextual advertising, mostly Google AdSense though. The theory to make money with contextual advertising is counterintuitive. While most of us build websites and create blogs that people will visit and bookmark to return to, a contextual advertising guru does just the opposite.

To make money with contextual advertising you want your content to be bad. Yes, you want it to be bad. You do not want the user to like what you have on the webpage or find what they are looking for in hopes that after not finding it, they will either do another search in your embedded Google search box or they will click one of the contextual ads on the page in hopes of finding what they came there to find.

The defenders of this type of website say they are “just another way for users to search and find what they are looking for.” What a crock. If that page never existed, the user would have clicked to a relevant website in the first place.

The fact that you can easily find these garbage pages proves that Google and the others know they exist and are doing absolutely nothing to curb it even though it goes against their ToS. As long as Google and the others make money, they do not seem to care that the content on the web is becoming half garbage.

I’m not even counting the ones that are registering tons of domain names, then un-registering them before the 5 day grace period is up [discussed at http://www.circleid.com/posts/howdomainnametastingworks/ and http://www.circleid.com/posts/domaininbad_taste/]. I am including the monetized parked domains. Many will object to that association and say parked domains are legitimate. However if you registered a domain name with the sole purpose of parking it and letting Google monetize it for you, then you are adding to the garbage.

Temporarily parking a domain name while a website is being built is excusable. Never planning to build the website and registering tons of domain names for the sole purpose of parking and monetizing them adds no value to the web.

It’s perfectly legal. There is no crime being committed while doing it. But to claim it is anything other than adding to the garbage on the web is just being in denial.

It also makes it more difficult for those who do wish to add value to the web to find decent domain names. But I don’t blame the ones parking the domains or doing domain name kiting for that shortage. For that lays squarely on ICANN’s shoulders. If they allowed the creation of more commercially viable TLDs, then there would be no shortage of good domain names.

However, that would not get rid of the contextual advertising disease that has infected the web. Google, Yahoo, and the others need to clean up their act and start policing the websites that use contextual advertising to make sure they are actually putting up content and not just googlespam.

Ecommerce otherwise known as electronic commerce is taking over the way that we buy and sell products in the commerce world. In the last few years the amount of companies that have started selling online has increased tenfold. With more and more businesses taking their services online ecommerce is showing no sign of slowing down.

One of the major reasons why so many businesses are taking their services online is because once they have established an ecommerce website they are affectively opening their business up to the global market, meaning that anyone in the world with internet access is a potential customer. Therefore the potential for your business is unlimited.

Another reason why ecommerce is becoming so popular is because ecommerce allows you to trade 24/7 and 365 days a year as long as your website and web server is maintained correctly. As web servers try to be online 24/7 and the ecommerce website being able to process transactions without somebody sitting there day in, day out, this allows for people to shop even when the normal shops would be closed.

When starting up a business online or transferring your existing business to the world of ecommerce you are affectively about to make your business run a lot smoother if you use the right ecommerce software. With the right content management system and the right ecommerce system you can manage everything from your computer. You will be able to track what customers are buying, store inventory control, change shipping and all other kinds of tasks easily from a computer which will leave you more time to work on other aspects of your business. Also using an ecommerce website you can show off all of your products along with detailed descriptions and specifications all in one place, and as they are there you will easily be able to up date the product information thus keeping your customers completely up to date with what you are offering.

Features that can help improve your business like product comparison is always a good choice when starting your ecommerce business, this allows for your customers to compare different products against each other so that they can then decide for themselves which they want after viewing facts on each of the products or services they wish to compare, this allows for the customer to have more control and know exactly what they want to buy.

A major bonus to using ecommerce over general commerce is that when a customer purchases a product the ecommerce side automates all of the process which cuts down on errors, codes are sent when ordering automatically which reduces the risk for human error. So you should also cut down on costs due to the accuracy of an ecommerce websites automation process.

Overall anyone with an idea can start up an ecommerce business and compete with the big stores at little cost nowadays, one you have established your website you are competing against the superstores which can be good for you as a lot of people would rather go to a smaller business online to buy their products. A few reasons for this is that you can have much more personal interaction with the customer than a big ecommerce company will have. Once you have established yourself you can just as quickly become a big store, but do not leave your customers in the dark, you need to keep your support up to scratch no matter how big you may get.

When you go car shopping, what are you looking for? Are you looking for a sporty little two seater that’s going to impress the babes or a sensible sedan with plenty of room for car seats? Do you want a car that’s going to be good on gas mileage or one that will give you plenty of space to spread out? These are all things that people think about when they’re standing in the middle of a car lot looking for their next set of wheels. What they don’t usually consider is which car will give them cheaper car insurance.

Unless you’ve taken the time to sit down with your insurance agent and find out how they calculate the cost of your car insurance you probably don’t realize that your car itself has as much to do with your insurance premiums as, say, your driving history. Insurance companies don’t like to pay out claims, and there are certain cars that seem to attract trouble like a magnet! You could be the best driver in the world, but if you’re behind the wheel of a “high risk” car cheaper car insurance is going to be as hard to come by as front row seats at a Hannah Montana concert.

So how do you know which cars are going to give you cheaper car insurance? You do your homework. The first thing you should do is make a list of what, exactly, you need in a car. There are a lot of resources on the web that will help you find cars that are cheaper to insure, but they usually forget to mention that this isn’t a one size fits all solution. You’re not going to fit five kids in a Toyota Prius. Not legally, anyway! That means you need to shop with your family in mind.

When you’re shopping for a car you can find out how big a risk your car is the same way your insurance agent does-by consulting the Highway Loss Data Institute. The HLDI has statistics on just about every make and model on the market, and they can tell you whether the car you’re considering buying has losses that are considered to be less than, equal to or greater than the average loss for its vehicle class. Fewer losses and expenses as a result of accidents and/or theft=cheaper car insurance every time.

Regardless of what type of car you’re going to buy, know that cars with advanced safety features are always going to equal cheaper car insurance premiums. Safety features like airbags and anti-lock brakes are going to minimize the injuries suffered by you, your car and your passengers if you’re ever in an accident, which is going to lower your comprehensive and liability insurance costs dramatically. Remember, the less they’re likely to have to pay out, the less you’re going to have to pay in!

Security features like car alarms and GPS tracking systems can also pave the way to cheaper car insurance. Since your car insurance provider has to pay the bill if your car is stolen and/or vandalized, taking steps to stop that from happening will always win you bonus points with your insurer-and the cheaper insurance premiums that go with it!

Cheaper car insurance might not be the first thing on your mind when you go shopping for a new car, but it shouldn’t be the last either. Do your homework before signing on the dotted line and you’ll have the hottest car insurance rates in town every time.

If you are operating an internet business I bet you know the importance of blogging.

Blogging helps in website promotion and drives killer traffic to your website if done right.

You are losing the traffic potential of your website if you are not using blogs to promote your site.

This is the only reason you can see blogs all around the net.

Here are 4 killer steps that will help you to boost up your website traffic using blogs…

1. Choose a Traffic Pulling Domain Name.

While selecting your domain name you must be aware of SEO and keyword optimization.

This will help you to boost your website traffic and get proper placement for your site in search engines.

Pick a domain name that is easy to remember and relevant to your products.

Also make sure to include your important keywords in the domain name so that search engines can give your site high ranking for relevant keywords.

2. Choose Best Blog Platform.

At this time, there are hundreds of platforms, both free and paid, that you can choose from. Choose the blog platform that offers features that your site is looking for.

Post comments on blogs and forums and ask other website owners as to which blog platform will be best for your internet business. Their recommendations will be extremely helpful to your internet business.

However one of the best blog platforms available as of now is wordpress which is available for free.

3. Blog Design.

Design your blog in relation to your website niche.

Make your blog graphics and design look professional, relevant to your internet business.

Basic colors like black, white, blue, red, and brown are your best bet for your blog colors.

4. Content is the King.

Your blog must include unique relevant content relating to your niche.

This is what will ultimately bring traffic to your site.

Your content must be quality content, unique and easy to understand.

Make sure you include your keywords in your blog post, this will help search engines determine the niche your blog post is targeting and probably get you to the top 10.

The need of information and entertainment has become greater for so many people that they are seeking for the best provider to give them the best service that they need. Local TV channel is felt not enough to serve the need. With this lack of service from TV channel makes a lot of people change their direction of the information and entertainment to the satellite TV that is considered to have greater service to give them what they need in their daily activities as well as in their leisure time.

The Direct TV is indeed the satellite TV provider that has been trusted by so many people to serve them with the best information and entertainment. The best package that is offered by the best satellite TV provider become the things that makes many people choose Direct TV as the provider of their home satellite TV.

Moreover, the service that is offered by Direct TV has become greater with the local store that will be available in so many states, such as the Direct TV TX for Texas and Direct TV CA for them located in California. There are still so many other state that will be able to enjoy this easiness from Direct TV with their local stores.
