Generating 150-200 visitors. Any help in that direction?
Youtube vids, bookmarking (be social so people look at your diggs etc too, works wonders to go that extra step – 99% think just bookmarking works, not always the case), pinging every time you finish updating, get a myspace add people who fit your keywords/niche in interests, then bulletins on your site. By the time you have a high amount of contacts your blog will be ready for visitors, so it can all go hand in hand.
The only way to get traffic is to let it know you exist and have something it happens to be looking for
Also, I forget the site, but you can make your own digg for free and digg all that you do. It has PR6 juice too… I will tell if I find this video about the PR6 digg clone again.
