So We need a good catchy, web 2.0 domain. Something that’s easy to remember. I have a specific “structure” I use when choosing domains. It’s always worked for me. Don’t waste your time trying to find “keyword rich” domains. Again, this may sound counter-intuitive. A name like “DesignRio.com” is far better than “TutorialsOnHowToUsePhotoshopBlog.com” (obviously that’s exaggerated but hopefully you get the point). When choosing my domain, I take my main keyword and add a web 2.0 catchy suffix or prefix to it. For example, if I was creating a design blog I’d choose something along the lines of:
FaDesign.com, aDesign.com,KiDesign.com,QuaDesign.com,SkaDesign.com
TwiDesign.com,ViDesign.com,YaDesign.com,YoDesign.com
It’s funny because these domains actually often look far more professional than keyword rich domains. A few times I’ve just sold the domain instead of the autoblog. They’re trendy, catchy, professional and very easy to “create”. Here’s a list of prefixes you may want to use:

When choosing your domain name, I’d also like you to follow the following three rules:
Always go for a “.com” domain name.
Never use dashes in your domain name.
Never use numbers in your domain name.
Here’s a list of suffixes you may want to use instead of using a prefix. Try to keep your domain name as short as possible so don’t use a suffix and a prefix.
It doesn’t matter if your domain name doesn’t “make sense” – your domain will start and out. It’s easy to find domains like this quickly which will help later on when you’re mass producing autoblogs. You’ll see me using these types of domain names all the time When you’re looking for a domain name, use this site. It saves me so much time – allows you to check whether domains are available instantly:
www.instantdomainsearch.com
Alternatively, you can use Moniker.com which allows you to check if a large amount of domains are available all at once. To register domains I use GoDaddy since when/if I sell the domain name, I know that almost everyone has a GoDaddy account. Go and get a domain right now.
